Player Collection: Stan Musial

Sundays are slow mail days, so I am going to try to make a weekly focus on a player collection or cool card from my personal collection.  Plus, after 28 years of collecting it is really hard to just post pictures of my collection without narrowing the focus down a little bit.  Since my main baseball love is the Cardinals I am going to start with The Man.  This is a collection that I am actually reshaping at the moment.  Currently, I have a hand full of vintage Musial cards, autographs, and jersey cards.  Today, I am going to focus on the autographs and jerseys (I will still post the vintage one day soon).  I have recently decided to make all of my Hall of Famers, or sure-fire Hall of Famers, non-sticker autographs.  I have also decided with the old players that the jersey swatches should appear old.  This meant that recently I had to move a bunch of cards from my personal collection/not for trade to my trade/for sale.  While I have sacrificed some of the depth and quantity from my collection I feel that in the long run it will be worth the trade off.   So, I currently boast four Musial autos and six materials cards.  My scanner was in a snarky mood this morning.  Sorry on the autographed cards.

Last picture for today.  I do not dabble much in autographed baseball, bats, pictures, etc.  However, a picked this one up at work a few years back.  Pretty sweet.
